February 17, 2011 - A special fundraising performance of "Bill and Lois Wilson: In Their Own Words." The performance will be held at the Palace Theatre in Danbury, CT. Limited seating for friends of Stepping Stones is available, contact Annah at info@steppingstones.org to reserve your seat. Tickets are $50 per person, proceeds to benefit the Mid Connecticut Council on Alcoholism. Discounted tickets for groups of 10 or more are available.

May 14~ Community Gardening Day at Stepping Stones. Starting at 10am friends are invited to share the responsibility of planting and tending to Stepping Stones annual and perrenial garden, in the spirit of Lois Wilson. Sponsor one of the 11 plots and commit to tending it throughout the year, donate and plant native annuals or perennials, or come for four hours of labor which will prepare the garden for the annual picnic and a vibrant season. June 4 ~ 60th Annual Stepping Stones Family Groups Picnic, 12 noon-5pm
Join friends old and new as we continue Lois Wilson's annual picnic tradition, originated to celebrate the entire family in recovery. The picnic starts at noon. Lunch is bring-your-own; soft drinks are provided. At 2pm the open meeting starts with this year's speakers, Irene P. (Al-Anon, CT), Peggy B. (A.A., NYC), and an Alateen speaker to be announced.
In an extra special show of support for Stepping Stones and to carry on the tradition of music flowing throughout the house and grounds, Basket Landing will perform at 3:30pm. Come celebrate the grand opening of the Stepping Stones Welcome Center and view the exhibits.
Parking is at 1 Railroad Avenue, Bedford Hills, NY. A shuttle will run continuously to bring you to and from the Stepping Stones property. Handicapped passes only will be honored at 62 Oak Road, Katonah, NY 10536. Buses are strictly prohibited on the roads surrounding Stepping Stones, so park the bus at 1 Railroad Avenue and use the shuttle, please..

In the spirit of the holiday season, an evening tour with the holiday lights shining. Visitors are escorted around the property by candlelight, and the house is decorated in the spirit of Bill and Lois Wilson by generous volunteers. Dramatic readings from Bill and Lois' correspondence that shows what their holidays were like are the evening's theme. Visitors can participate in caroling, and hot cider will be served. A $25 contribution is welcomed. Tour starts at 5:30pm. Reservations are required - call (914) 232-4822 or email info@steppingstones.org.
