Please pack your lunch. Some beverages may be supplied. Check back for information.
Picnic parking is at the Bedford Hills Train Station where shuttle service is provided to the picnic site. (No neighborhood or street parking is permitted for picnic guests.) Guest parking, ticket check-in, and shuttles to the picnic are located at Bedford Hills Train Station off 1 Railroad Avenue, Bedford Hills, NY 10507. Picnic guest shuttles begin at 12 Noon at the train station and run throughout the day. The last shuttle from the picnic to the train is at 4:30 p.m. (Volunteer parking shuttles begin at 8 a.m. and are for volunteers only.) Guests unable to ride the shuttle due to mobility impairments or other special needs may email firstname.lastname@example.org by May 15 a special needs parking pass for the site. Read your ticket fine print for additional information. All visits to Stepping Stones are at one's own risk. Please wear appropriate foot wear and attire for the terrain, weather, and conditions and use caution at all times.
Annual Picnic Schedule of Activities
Picnic, relax, and fellowship, 12 Noon to 4:30 p.m.
Historic home and writing studio open for viewing, 12 Noon to 2:00 p.m.
Open Speaker Meeting, 2:00 p.m. - Al-Anon, A.A., and Alateen speakers
Limited Chairs Available: Armless wood folding chairs are available for many guests in the area of the speaker meeting. To guarantee a seat and if you want a particular type, consider bring a lawn/beach/folding chair. If you plan to sit on the ground, consider bringing a sheet of plastic as the ground is damp.
Contributions are welcome to help make the picnic a self-supported event. Contributions can be made at the time orders are placed and are non-refundable. The suggested contribution is $10 or more per guest.

In addition to the ticketed Annual Picnic listed above, the following are days when Stepping Stones has group reservations of more than 50 visitors. No additional tour reservation inquiries are being accepted for reserved dates.

Stepping Stones is currently booking group visits for 2019. Individuals interested in visiting in 2018, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com or call (914) 232-4822. Reservations are limited. Some 2018 dates are not available. All access to the inside of each historic building is by advance reservation for a guided tour only. See the "Visit" page and contact us to check availability by using the Tour Reservation Process / System on the "Visit" page. Home and studio tours (all visits inside the buildings are guided) are Monday through Saturday at 1 p.m. (A very limited number of requests for other times and dates may be available by appointment based on scheduling limitations.) If you are traveling to the region, we encourage you to make a reservation well in advance of your other travel plans. The Welcome Center (the Wilsons' two-car garage), which houses a orientation display, shop and the restrooms, is open Monday-Saturday before and after the tours from 12 noon to 1 p.m. and 2-3 p.m. We encourage tour guests o arrive between noon and 12:30 p.m. for their reserved 1 p.m. tour to have time to view the orientation display before the tour. Reservations are required. Groups of 10 or more require special planning and are encouraged to contact us at least 60 days in advance of your preferred visit date. Some groups contact us as much as 3 years in advance to guarantee a date.
NOTE: If you do not wish to take a tour inside the structures, individuals may visit the outdoor areas of the property Monday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Groups must have reservations to come to the historic site.

Oversized vehicles such as school and coach buses and RVs are not permitted. Once submitted, you will be contacted within 2 business day about availability or with a confirmation.
