INFORMATION FOR 2014 PICNIC TICKET HOLDERS

Join friends old and new as we continue Lois Wilson's annual tradition, originated to celebrate the entire family in recovery.
ADVANCE TICKETS ARE REQUIRED FOR SHUTTLE, PICNIC, AND GROUNDS ACCESS
Due to attendance limits and parking restrictions, an advance ticketing system has been implemented. Access to the picnic is by shuttle from the Bedford Hills Train Station commuter lots at 1 Railroad Ave., Bedford Hills, NY 10507. Ticket holders please present your unique, barcoded paper ticket for shuttle, picnic and grounds access.
If your plans have change, please cancel your reservation.
DO YOU NEED HELP WITH TICKETS? If you do not have access to a printer, please contact us by noon on June 6 for assistance with printing your ticket order. Email to email@example.com or by phone to 914-232-4822.
Your ticket is your access to both the parking shuttle, site and picnic. Parking is available for ticket-holders at the Bedford Hills Transit Station commuter lots at Railroad Avenue, Bedford Hills, NY, from noon until 5 p.m. Shuttles begin running at noon. Please use the commuter lots, and out of respect for the merchants please do not park on the side of the tracks used for downtown shoppers and postal customers. Shuttles provided by Stepping Stones are the only vehicles permitted to the property with the exception of people who have registered for a limited number of special needs parking spots on site. If you have a SPECIAL NEED, PLEASE INFORM THE SHUTTLE DRIVER. The Stepping Stones shuttles will run continuously when full or near capacity to bring guests and volunteers to and from the Stepping Stones property. Carpooling to the picnic parking at the commuter lot at Railroad Ave. is highly encouraged.
Special Needs Parking: A limited number of special needs parking spaces are available on the Stepping Stones property. Please let us know by June 6 at noon so that we can issue you a SPECIAL PASS if you will require on-site special needs parking at 66 Oak Road, Katonah, NY 10536. If you take the shuttles and have a special need prohibiting you from ascending the hill to Stepping Stones, please inform the shuttle driver and ask for accommodation at the special needs drop off point.
Buses, campers/RVs, stretch limos and any other oversized vehicles or vehicles with anything in tow are not permitted. Parking by Stepping Stones guests is not permitted on the roads surrounding Stepping Stones and throughout the neighborhood. Radios and other devices that amplify sound are not permitted.
Picnic begins - 12 noon
Program of speakers begins - 2 p.m. (ends around 4 p.m.)
Picnic ends - 5 p.m.
LUNCH - Pack In, Pack Out, Pack Light!
Please plan to "pack-in and pack-out" your lunch, recyclables and refuse. We will supply soft drinks and water.
Please bring-your-own lunch (no grills, barbeques, sterno or open flames are permitted). We encourage you to pack light because drop off and pick up of supplies and passengers by car is not permitted at the Stepping Stones property on picnic day. All access on picnic day is by shuttle from the train station lot.
What to bring / What to leave at home: We encourage you to bring a hat/visor, sunscreen and tick/bug spray. In consideration of other guests and neighbors the following are not permitted on site on picnic day: radios, skateboards/scooters/roller blades and skates, frisbee, kites, etc.
Open Meeting Speakers (The A.A. and Al-Anon speakers knew Bill and/or Lois.): A.A. (Tommie D., FL & CT), Al-Anon (Mary Ann K., NY), and an Alateen speaker from NY. The historic home and writing studio will be closed during the speaker meeting.

TOUR VISIT RESERVATIONS
Contact us to check availability for your desired tour date by using the Tour Reservation System below. Guided tours are available Mon. through Fri. at 1 p.m. All access to the historic buildings is by guided tour only. A very limited number of special requests for other times and dates may be available by appointment based on schedules of staff and volunteers. We encourage you to make a reservation well in advance of your trip. The Welcome Center, which houses a orientation display, shop and the restrooms for guests, is open Monday-Saturday from 12 noon - 3:00 p.m. On your tour date, we encourage you to arrive by 12:40 p.m. for your 1 p.m. tour. Reservations are strongly recommended for everyone and required for groups of 10 or more. Groups are encouraged to contact us 6-12 months in advance.
