On September 23, 2024, writer Susan De Vries took an in depth look at the history of the Brooklyn brownstone where Bill and Lois Wilson lived prior to being without a home for two years and finding their final home, Stepping Stones. Their former residence at 182 Clinton St., Brooklyn Heights, NY, is where Lois was born and raised, where the couple returned when Lois mother was ill and they could not afford another apartment, and where Bill reached the depths of his alcoholism and the start of his recovery in 1934.
