69th Annual Stepping Stones Lois' Family Groups Picnic
Saturday, June 6, 2020, 12 Noon, Rain or Shine
Noon - Shuttles begin from Parking at Bedford Hills Train Station
Noon-2 p.m. - Enjoy your picnic lunch, fellowship, the historic buildings and grounds
2 p.m.-3:45 p.m. - A.A., Al-Anon Family Groups, and Alateen Speakers

Tickets will become available at 2 p.m. on April 21, 2020 via a link on this page. To get an email including picnic information, join our mailing list by sending all of your full name, address, phone, and email to email@example.com.
Donations for self-support of the Picnic are welcomed.
Please bring your picnic lunch. Soft drinks, coffee and water are typically provided.

Picnic parking is at the Bedford Hills Train Station where shuttle service is provided to the picnic site. (No neighborhood or street parking is permitted for picnic guests.) Guest parking, ticket check-in, and shuttles to the picnic are located at Bedford Hills Train Station off 1 Railroad Avenue, Bedford Hills, NY 10507. Picnic guest shuttles begin at 12 Noon at the train station and run throughout the day. The last shuttle from the picnic to the train is at 4:30 p.m. (Volunteer parking shuttles begin at 8 a.m. and are for volunteers only.) Guests unable to ride the shuttle due to mobility impairments or other special needs may email firstname.lastname@example.org by May 15 a special needs parking pass for the site. Read your ticket fine print for additional information. All visits to Stepping Stones are at one's own risk. Please wear appropriate foot wear and attire for the terrain, weather, and conditions and use caution at all times.
Annual Picnic Schedule of Activities
Picnic, relax, and fellowship, 12 Noon to 4:30 p.m.
Historic home and writing studio open for viewing, 12 Noon to 2:00 p.m.
Open Speaker Meeting, 2:00 p.m. - Al-Anon, A.A., and Alateen speakers
Limited Chairs Available: Armless folding chairs are available for many guests in the area of the speaker meeting. To guarantee a seat and if you want a particular type, consider bringing a lawn/beach/folding chair. If you plan to sit on the ground, consider bringing a sheet of plastic as the ground is damp.
Contributions are welcome to help make the picnic a self-supported event. Contributions can be made at the time orders are placed and are non-refundable. The suggested contribution is $10 or more per guest.
Volunteer for the 2020 Picnic! Sign up by sending an email with your contact information and the hours of availability between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on picnic day and your preferred volunteer tasks to email@example.com.

Notification of Upcoming Medium & Large Events Reserved by Groups

The following are days when Stepping Stones has reservations of more than 50 visitors.

Reservations are required for individual and group tour visits. To check availability, please email firstname.lastname@example.org, call (914) 232-4822 (Mon.-Fri., 9 a.m.-5 p.m.), or use the Tour Reservation Form at the bottom of the "Visit" page of this website. Reservations are limited. Some dates and holidays are not available. All access to the inside of each historic building is by advance reservation for a guided tour only. Please see the "Visit" page of this website and contact us to check availability. Tours are only offered Monday through Saturday at 1 p.m. (A very limited number of requests for other times and dates may be available by appointment based on scheduling limitations.) If you are traveling to the region, we encourage you to make a reservation well in advance of your other travel plans. The Welcome Center (the Wilsons' two-car garage), which houses a orientation display, shop and the restrooms, is open Monday-Saturday before and after the tours from 12 noon to 1 p.m. and 2-3 p.m. We encourage tour guests o arrive between noon and 12:30 p.m. for their reserved 1 p.m. tour to have time to view the orientation display before the tour. Reservations are required. Groups of 10 or more require special planning and are encouraged to contact us at least 60 days in advance of your preferred visit date. Some groups contact us as much as 3 years in advance to guarantee a date.
NOTE: If you do not wish to take a tour inside the structures, individuals may visit the outdoor areas of the property Monday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Groups must have reservations to come to the historic site.

Provide your preferred date, contact information, number in party, and type of vehicle (passenger cars, SUVs, 16 passenger van, etc.). Oversized vehicles such as school and coach buses and RVs are not permitted. Once submitted, you will be contacted within 2 business day about availability or with a confirmation. We can make suggestions for a daylong or overnight excursion to the area, including discount group rates on transportation, off-site lodging and dining, and more.
