On The Road, Fiddle in Hand
Bill and Lois were fond of music. The Stepping Stones archives contains an extensive collection of sheet music and albums. Bill, a self taught violinist, often quipped, “I was a very bad first violinist in a very poor (high school) orchestra.”
If they were not playing music, Lois on the piano, they were listening to Pablo Casals albums or classical music on the radio. Stepping Stones was always filled with music. Bill would play violin at the annual Stepping Stones picnic and was known to pack a “fiddle” when traveling to visit Dr. Bob & Anne.
