The Wilsons’ Bedroom

Found on the second floor of the home of the Wilsons, their bedroom overlooks Lois’ gardens, the wooded property, and the area where visitors used to park. This room was a sanctuary for Bill and Lois, and her favorite room in the house, where the couple would share quiet time, prayer, and coffee every morning before starting their day. They loved to read to one another here.

The historic bed is the very bed that Lois and all of her brothers and sisters were born in when it was in Brooklyn. They were born at 182 Clinton Street. Lois wanted to live to be one hundred and she wished to pass on in this room. She passed at the age of 97 and a half, her last days being at a local hospital.
