Bill and Lois Wilson’s homestead, personal effects, and archives—about 100,000 documents and photographs and 10,000 three-dimensional objects—were left by Lois Wilson to the Stepping Stones Foundation when she passed in 1988. The Foundation maintains the authenticity of the property and makes the home and archives accessible to the public. Researchers may apply for in-depth study . The quantity and variety of materials present an ever-increasing preservation challenge that friends are invited to assist with through financial support. The Foundation also seeks volunteers to serve from home on its Online Archive Project that will create a free, searchable online archive.
