Bill and Lois Wilson’s home, personal effects, and archives—about 100,000 documents and photographs and 10,000 three-dimensional objects—were left by Lois Wilson to the Stepping Stones Foundation when Lois passed in 1988.  Archive highlights are available to view through a state-of-the-art Online Archive Portal launched in November 2022.  Click to register for free to browse the Online Archive Portal, which will eventually grow to have 10,000 pages of material including much of the Wilson’s original correspondence, writings, diaries, and photographs. The first wave of more than 400 pages feature select materials from the William Griffith Wilson Collection. To serve from home as an online archive volunteer, click here to apply. Demonstrations on how to use the Online Archive Portal and all of its features will be presented via Zoom in 2023. Join the email list to receive a notice of these events.

Authors, scholars and other researchers may also apply to conduct more in-depth study of materials specific to their project.

The quantity and variety of materials at Stepping Stones present an ever-increasing preservation challenge as time passes, so friends are invited to assist these efforts through financial support.
