Installing an outdoor feature with bricks salvaged from 17 William Street, Newark, New Jersey, which is where Bill W. wrote much of Alcoholics Anonymous ("Big Book")
Restoring the Historic Outdoor Fireplace "Stonehenge"
Restoring the Historic Fountain / Goldfish Pond
Repair / Resurface Garden Paths
And related or other outdoor projects

In addition to special project's such as the Sunlight of the Spirit outdoor features project described above, gifts are welcomed toward general purposes to assist with ongoing maintenance, programs, and operations of the historic site. As stewards of the 100,000 archived items, 10,000 objects, and 6 structures on 8.17 acres of gardens and grounds left in our care by Lois Wilson, we are grateful to our supporters. Please join us on the journey. Together we can preserve the site, archives, and legacy of the Wilsons while fostering public understanding alcoholism and inspiring recovery.
When giving, please let us know if your gift is from you or an organization and whether you would like to be anonymous in the donor listing in our newsletter. Also, please include any tribute information related listing preferences.

Make a Donation as a Holiday Gift - For that friend who loves the 12-Step fellowships, their history, and Stepping Stones, a nice holiday gift is to honor them with a contribution in their honor. Gifts over $25 and their honorees are listed in our spring/summer newsletters when specified.
Show Gratitude, Honor or Remember Someone Special or an Anniversary/Birthday with a Donation -To give in honor or memory of an individual or group, please indicate on the donation form (online or printed form) the name of the person or group and whether they should be listed anonymously in publications. If you would like a gift announcement to be sent to the honoree or their family, please provide their contact information.
Donor Acknowledgements - Space permitting, typically those who give $26 or more are recognized within the annual newsletter, so please provide your listing preferences with your gift. If you would like your donation to be listed as from "Anonymous" rather than by your name, please make a note of that when completing the online or printed donation form or provide instructions.
Preserve and maintain! Stepping Stones relies on the participation of its community to fulfill Lois' wishes and preserve this resource forever. Individuals, foundations, corporations and organizations show their support for keeping this historic treasure alive, by becoming friends of Stepping Stones with a financial gift or a regular pledge of support. Become a friend by contributing any amount, whether it be $20, $50, $250, $1,000, or more, to the Stepping Stones Foundation.
Stepping Stones encourages your involvement in service both here on site and in your community.
Some volunteer roles can be done remotely from home via the internet. From one's own home town the types of opportunities include helping raise awareness, social media outreach, helping to index our archive, graphic and web design, writing, editing, and more. If you have a skill that you would like to share with Stepping Stones, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know how you can help. Feel free to include bio, CV, or resume or a link to your company if you would like.
To be considered for a role as an outreach Ambassador or to serve on a Committee, Advisory Council, or Board of Trustees, please email email@example.com with your bio, CV, or resume and feel free to also include a confidential summary of your interest, including your interest in 12-Step history and fellowships.
Some of the on-site opportunities are: giving tours, gardening, helping to host events, carrying out light maintenance, helping with office and clerical work, assisting with tech support, and more. If you and your friends would like to organize and hold an event online or in your hometown area for Stepping Stones such as a presentation by a Foundation representative about Bill and Lois; a dinner, breakfast or luncheon; or an entertainment event (movie, comedy, or dance), please email email@example.com with your contact information and event ideas, including our special presentation called "Stepping Stones Comes to You." It is a 1-2 hour presentation with images from our archives and it can be presented at most any gathering.
